This heartwarming initiative continues to build global connections between Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families while supporting the Filipino community.

Building on last year's success, Smiles continues to target customers in Japan, Singapore, and Canada. A significant feature of this year's program is that 5 Smiles points will be donated for each remittance, and Smiles will match that donation, effectively doubling the impact of all remittances.

Main Highlights of the 2024 Program:

1. Support for 100 Families:

Smiles Mobile Remittance will again collaborate with generous customers to donate care packages (relief supplies) to 100 impoverished families in the Philippines. The local government authorities in Bulacan province will also assist in delivering these care packages to families in need, making this initiative a true community effort.

2. Early Christmas Care Packages (Ayuda):

In the spirit of sharing, Smiles Mobile Remittance Philippines and its dedicated community will distribute early Christmas food packages (Ayuda) to 100 families. These donations will provide essential support to the poorest families in the Philippines.

3. Today's Lucky Donor:

Starting from September 15, 2024, one "Today's Lucky Donor" will be selected daily from those who made remittances the previous day. The chosen donor will participate in the distribution of care packages as a representative of Smiles, and their contribution will be featured on Smiles' social media channels.

4. Double the Impact of Donations:

During the period from September 16 to December 25, 5 Smiles points will be donated for every remittance made. Smiles will match these points with an equivalent donation, effectively doubling the contribution to families in need.

5. Global Community Involvement:

This program invites customers from Smiles' global business locations, including Japan, Singapore, and Canada, to participate. By sharing heartwarming moments through photos and videos, Smiles aims to unite the global community and spread joy.
