In December 2025, the vibrant "Vietnam Festival in Tochigi 2025" was held in Tochigi Prefecture, blowing away the winter cold. Japan's number one mobile remittance service, "Smiles Mobile Remittance," participated as the main sponsor of this event and deepened interactions with thousands of Vietnamese people who gathered from Tochigi and neighboring prefectures.
This festival aims to introduce Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and music to Japanese society while providing a space for the Vietnamese community working away from their homeland to come together. The venue featured stalls offering traditional dishes such as Pho and Banh Mi, and a colorful performance unfolded on stage.
The Smiles team set up a special booth at the venue to express their gratitude and provide information on the latest features for safely and quickly sending money back to families in their home country. Fun games and exclusive novelty gifts were also offered at the booth, making it a wonderful moment overflowing with "Smiles."
