The mobile overseas remittance app "Smiles Mobile Remittance (Smiles)" boasts an overwhelming No. 1 share in Japan and has expanded the "One Million Smiles" program to deliver support to more communities across the Philippines.

Since its establishment a few years ago, this program has supported struggling families through food packs and "Ayuda (living support goods)". In 2025, Smiles is particularly focusing on supporting "students". To enable children to study with brighter smiles, we continue to provide school bags and essential school supplies, as well as food support for families.

The Journey of "One Million Smiles"

"One Million Smiles" began in 2021. At that time, Smiles collaborated with 100 customers to deliver holiday food packs to 100 households during the "100 Days of Christmas". This project, which started to share hope and happiness, has grown into an annual charity campaign that uplifts families and students.

In 2025, Expanding Support to Bicol, Davao, and Bulacan

In 2025, the program expanded to the regions of Bicol, Davao, and Bulacan. In line with the start of the new school term, the Smiles team donated essential school supplies such as backpacks, notebooks, and pens. Additionally, to support students and ease the financial burden on parents, food packs were also provided.

Ambassador Gabi Concepcion Also Participated

In selected schools, the Smiles team held small ceremonies where they directly handed over school supplies to the beneficiaries. In particular, in Bulacan province, Smiles' global brand ambassador Gabi Concepcion appeared. He joined the team to distribute food packs to students and their parents, deepening interactions with local people.
