In August 2025, a major event symbolizing the unity of the Indonesian community in Japan, "Indonesia International Friendship Day 2025," was grandly held in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. The leading mobile remittance service in Japan, Smiles Mobile Remittance, participated as a main sponsor of this event, enjoying a moment of cultural exchange and friendship with all the attendees.

This event aimed to serve as a cultural bridge between Indonesia and Japan, featuring a variety of programs such as traditional dance performances, stalls of Indonesian cuisine, and exciting futsal tournaments.

The Smiles team set up a special booth at the venue and engaged directly with the Indonesian community. At the booth, they provided information about the latest features of the Smiles app and a beneficial points program for remittances to families back home. Additionally, activities were held where attendees could win Smiles exclusive novelties, and the booth was filled with smiles from many people throughout the day.
