Aichi/Ibaraki, Japan – On August 7, 2022, the Smiles Mobile Remittance - Indonesia team hosted an event at Bunaken Cafe in Ibaraki Prefecture and sponsored the "Futsal Tournament 2022" held in Aichi Prefecture.

Members of Smiles were treated to delicious Indonesian cuisine for free at Bunaken Cafe. Participants not only enjoyed the meals but also had the opportunity to interact with the Indonesian community in Japan, particularly with members of the religious communities in Japan.

Similarly, at the futsal tournament held on August 7, 2022, at Joyfoot Tokai Futsal in Toyota City, many participants were able to expand their networks within the Indonesian community. This annual sports event concluded with one team claiming victory in the Tokai Cup VII.

Last year, Smiles Indonesia also sponsored the same event, collaborating with the organizers Baraya Viking Japan (BVJ), which is one of the largest Indonesian communities in Japan. BVJ has built a strong relationship with the Smiles Indonesia team, deepening the bonds within the Indonesian community.

The Smiles Indonesia team looks forward to continuing participation, sponsorship, and hosting events to unite the Indonesian community in the future.
