Calgary, Canada, August 16, 2023 – On August 12 and 13, the annual popular event "Philippine Calgary Summer Festival" took place, and Prairie Winds Park in Calgary was filled with vibrant energy. The forecast predicted clear skies, but there were unexpected storms, yet the event became a memorable one. The half-day event started around noon, and the Smiles Mobile Remittance Canada-Philippines team had the opportunity to interact with the attendees. Although the number of visitors did not meet expectations, the team was able to build connections with the people present.
