In December 2024, an event celebrating traditional Christmas in the Philippines, "Handog Pamasko Dinner & Dance," was held in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada, where Smiles Mobile Remittance Canada proudly participated in this event and shared joy with the community. This event was a special opportunity for Filipinos living in Canada to celebrate the Christmas spirit of their homeland and deepen their bonds.

Ties with the Filipino Community in Canada

"Handog Pamasko" is a gathering for the Filipino community living in Canada, uniting through music, dance, and Philippine cuisine. The Smiles Canada team interacted directly with attendees, sharing the importance of "fast, safe, and affordable" remittance services to support their everyday lives.

At the venue, many families and friends gathered, demonstrating the unique solidarity (Bayanihan) of Filipinos in a warm holiday atmosphere. Smiles Mobile Remittance strives to help migrant workers feel a connection to their homeland, even in foreign lands like Japan and Canada, by supporting such cultural events.
